PiezoWave2 is a Direct Focused device, meaning acoustic waves do not reflect off the side of the therapy source/hand piece before being redirected and delivered to the tissue (like a prism effect the others have with an image provided below).
With the PiezoWave2 you have more control over where the focal compression occurs due to the use of the gel pads and the fact that the piezo crystals expand uniformly and don’t require reflectors to redirect the sound wave. We avoid scattering and the unwanted possibility of focusing occurring in other areas of the tissue due to uncontrollable reflection angles.
PiezoWave2 can increase the Intensity - (energy) and the Hertz - (frequency of pulses delivered per second) at the same time. Most devices must compromise one or the other.
